Men’s Basketball Upended at UMass-Boston
BOSTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team dropped an 84-57 decision at UMass-Boston Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- UMass-Boston strung together a 21-0 run spanning nearly five minutes to establish a 30-15 advantage with 7:16 remaining in the first half.
- Eastern Nazarene chalked up the final six points of the first half to cut the halftime deficit to 39-30.
- The Beacons outscored the Lions 45-27 in the second stanza to earn their second-consecutive win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Bernie McGuinness (Cumming, Ga.) tallied a team-high 10 points while Corey McGhee (Alexandria, Va.) finished with eight points and five boards.
- JaWaun Moore (Dayton, Ohio) netted seven points and Xavier Depina (Whitman, Mass.) and Isaac Padilla (El Paso, Texas) both added six points off the bench.
- Eastern Nazarene shot 35.4% from the floor and connected on just 3-of-24 from beyond the arc.
- UMass-Boston finished with a field-goal percentage of 50.8% to go with 11-for-23 shooting from three-point territory.
- Malik Lorquet registered a double-double for the Beacons with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Emanuel Zayas posted 18 points while Mariano Rodriguez chipped in with 15 points.
LOOKING AHEAD:
Eastern Nazarene jets off to the Sunshine State to compete at the Naples Shootout. The Lions will face LaGrange December 19 and Penn State-Harrisburg December 20.
