Men’s Basketball Takes Down Thomas, 77-68
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team captured a 77-68 victory over Thomas (Maine) Tuesday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Thomas claimed an early 13-4 lead less than five minutes into the contest.
- Eastern Nazarene pulled even at 28-28 with 2:36 left to play in the first half on a jumper by Levi White (Springfield, Mass.).
- The visitors sported a narrow 34-32 edge at the break.
- The Lions knotted the game at 41-41 on a layup by Kobe Jones (Picayune, Miss.) with 16:04 remaining in regulation.
- Eastern Nazarene snagged a one-point edge, 51-50, with 10:02 on the clock as Kobe Dunbar (Lakeway, Texas) splashed a trey.
- After Thomas grabbed a 55-51 lead, the home side clawed back to seize a 61-59 advantage with 6:17 left to play on a put-back layup by Levi White (Springfield, Mass.).
- The Lions connected on 8-of-8 from the charity stripe in the final minutes to secure their second-straight win at home.

- Bernie McGuinness (Cumming, Ga.) finished with 16 points and nine rebounds.

- Thomas posted a field-goal percentage of 49.1% on the night to go with 5-for-12 shooting from three-point range.
