Men’s Basketball Topped by Trinity Tuesday
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team fell 83-54 to Trinity Tuesday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center.
The Lions slip to 7-8 on the year with the setback while the Bantams improve to 10-5 overall.
Bernie McGuinness (Cumming, Ga.) notched a double-double with a game-high 18 points and a team-best 10 rebounds. Nick Manso (Brick, N.J.) poured in 11 points off the bench and added four assists. Corey McGhee (Alexandria, Va.) netted 10 points and grabbed five boards while Ka'Shaun Swan (Lawrenceville, Ga.) chipped in with eight points.
The visitors grabbed an early 10-3 edge before stringing together a 9-0 run to claim a 24-12 lead with 9:42 remaining in the first half.
An 11-0 stretch extended Trinity's advantage to 35-14 with 3:40 to go in the opening period.

The guests started the second stanza with 10 unanswered points to widen the gap to 54-20.
Trinity pushed its advantage to 39, its largest lead of the game, as Darius Lue drained a trey with 12:43 on the clock.
The Bantams maintained a double-digit margin throughout the remainder of regulation to earn their 16th all-time win over the Lions.
Eastern Nazarene concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 31.8% while connecting on 6-of-17 from beyond the arc. Trinity shot 46.4% from the floor and 35.5% from three-point territory on the night.
Five players scored in double-figures for the Bantams as Ben Callahan-Gold tallied a team-high 17 points. Gilbert Otoo finished with 14 points while Kualim Johnson contributed 11 points off the bench. Dana Smith and Lue both registered 10 points.
