Baseball Triumphs at Hartford Sunday, 15-8
HARTFORD, Conn.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team hammered a season-high 19 hits en route to a 15-8 win at Hartford Sunday afternoon in the first-ever meeting between the two clubs.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene tallied one run in the top of the first inning to seize an early 1-0 edge.
- Hartford produced three runs in the bottom of the frame to grab a 3-1 advantage.
- The Hawks tacked on two runs in the second to widen the margin to 5-1.
- The Lions scored once in the third to cut the deficit to 5-2.
- Hartford responded with a run in the bottom of the third inning to reclaim a four-run lead, 6-2.
- Eastern Nazarene picked up one run in the fourth to trim the gap to 6-3.
- The hosts manufactured two runs in the fifth inning to claim an 8-3 advantage.
- The visitors answered with a pair of runs in the top of the sixth to narrow the deficit to 8-5.
- Eastern Nazarene leveled the contest at 8-8 with three runs in the seventh inning.
- The Lions erupted for seven runs in the eighth to capture a 15-8 lead.
