Baseball Bested at UMass-Boston
BOSTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team endured a 13-1 setback at UMass-Boston Tuesday night.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- UMass-Boston scored once in the bottom of the first inning to seize an early 1-0 lead.
- The Beacons produced five runs in the fourth to widen the margin to 6-0.
- UMass-Boston generated five runs in the fifth inning to stretch its advantage to 11-0.
- The home side tacked on a pair of run in the sixth to extend the gap to 13-0.
- Eastern Nazarene got on the board in the top of the eighth inning, chalking up one run to cut the deficit to 13-1. Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) launched a solo shot to collect his second home run of the spring.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) recorded two hits, one RBI, and one run scored.
- Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) chipped in with two base knocks.
- Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) added one hit.
- Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) pitched four innings and notched seven strikeouts. Paul Foster (North Billerica, Mass.) worked two-thirds of an inning in relief. Colby Rohr (Highland Village, Texas) tossed 2.1 frames of relief and fanned a season-high five batters. Liam Bruskewicz (Granite Springs, N.Y.) threw one inning and posted two strikeouts in his third appearance out of the bullpen.
