Baseball Drops Tuesday Tilt at Brandeis, 11-6
WALTHAM, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team fell at Brandeis 11-6 Tuesday afternoon in non-league action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene opened the contest with a pair of run in the top of the first inning. Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) belted his team-leading second home run of the year, a two-run blast to drive in Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
- Brandeis responded with three runs in the bottom of the frame to grab a 3-2 edge.
- The home team tacked on two runs in the second inning to widen the margin to 5-2.
- The Lions manufactured one run in the top of the third to cut the deficit to 5-3. Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) raked a single up the middle to score Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) from third base.
- Brandeis plated a run in the third to reclaim a three-run advantage, 6-3.
- The visitors chalked up three runs in the fourth to level the score at 6-6. Matthew Serrata (Ozone Park, N.Y.) laced a base hit to centerfield to knock in Brandon Mercado (Stoughton, Mass.). Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) followed with a single to left field to plate Andiover Feliz (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). Matthew Serrata (Ozone Park, N.Y.) crossed the dish with the game-tying run on an infield hit by Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.).
- The Judges answered with one run in the home half of the fourth inning to seize a 7-6 lead.
- Brandeis added a run in the sixth to double its advantage to two runs, 8-6.
- The hosts picked up one run in the seventh before tallying two in the eighth to wrap up their third-straight victory.

- Andiover Feliz (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) notched two hits and scored one run while Matthew Serrata (Ozone Park, N.Y.) chipped in with one base hit, one RBI, and a run scored.
- Liam Bruskiewicz (Granite Springs, N.Y.) pitched five innings in his second start of the spring and registered four strikeouts. Paul Foster (North Billerica, Mass.) worked 2.1 innings and posted one strikeout in his third relief outing. Michael Monteforte (Wilmington, Mass.) tossed two-thirds on an inning and fanned one batter in his second appearance out of the bullpen.
