Baseball Upended by King’s (PA), 6-4
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team dropped a 6-4 decision to King's (Pa.) Thursday at the Ripken Experience.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene tallied three runs in the bottom of the first inning to capture a 3-0 advantage. Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) raked a single to right field to drive in Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) crossed the dish after swiping third base. Ruddy Vidal (Barahona, Dominican Republic) belted a solo home run with two outs in the frame.
- The Lions tacked on a run in the third to extend their lead to 4-0. Andiover Feliz (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) tagged up and scurried home from third base on a sacrifice fly by Ruddy Vidal (Barahona, Dominican Republic).
- King's got on the board in the top of the fourth inning, scoring twice to cut the deficit to 4-2.
- The Monarchs picked up a run in the fifth to pull to within a run, 4-3.
- King's plated a run in the seventh frame to level the contest at 4-4.
- The Monarchs manufactured a pair of runs in the top of the eighth to claim a 6-4 edge.
