Francis Ferguson Tabbed to D3Baseball.com All-Region First Team

QUINCY, Mass.- Junior Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) of the Eastern Nazarene College baseball team collected D3Baseball.com All-Region first team honors, announced the organization Monday.

Ferguson was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Pitcher of the Year to go with All-NECC and NECC All-Tournament nods.

At the dish, the junior posted a .429 batting average with a .588 slugging percentage. He paced the squad with 51 hits while adding 33 runs scored, 31 RBIs, and 15 stolen bases.

Ferguson started 10 games on the mound and finished the year with a 7-2 record with four complete games. He owned a 2.06 ERA and ranked second on the pitching staff with 90 strikeouts in 65.2 innings.

Eastern Nazarene concluded the 2023 campaign with a 26-14 overall record and a 6-6 mark in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC). The Lions reached the NECC championship series this spring for the first time in program history.
