Baseball Clobbers Curry in Non-Conference Tilt, 29-2
MILTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team racked up a program-record 29 runs and slugged past Curry, collecting 29-2 victory in five innings Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene raced out to a 2-0 lead, scoring twice in the top of the first inning. Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) roped a double to drive in Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) before tagging up and scampering home from third base on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.).
- The Lions used a seven-run outburst in the second to extend their lead to 9-0.
- The visitors tacked on seven runs in the third inning to widen the margin to 16-0.
- Curry chalked up two runs in the home half of the third to chip away at the deficit, 16-2.
- Eastern Nazarene erupted for nine runs in the fourth to stretch its advantage to 25-2. Brandon Guerrero (Boston, Mass.) and Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) both belted three-run home runs in the frame.
- The Lions scored four runs in the top of the fifth to push their lead to 29-2. Andiover Feliz (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) launched his first collegiate home run, a grand slam to drive in Andres Medina (Wesley Chapel, Fla.), Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.), and Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Brandon Guerrero (Boston, Mass.) racked up six RBIs, two hits, and two runs scored.
- Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) notched six RBIs, four runs scored, and a pair of RBIs.
- Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) finished withi five runs scored, four RBIs, three base knocks, and a stolen base.
- On the mound, Jon Tessier (Coronado, Calif.) hurled five innings while fanning six batters and scattering four hits.
