Baseball Claims Two Wins at New England College Saturday
HENNIKER, N.H.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team posted a pair of victories at New England College Saturday afternoon, triumphing 5-0 and 10-4.
GAME ONE
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene produced all five runs in the top of the seventh inning. Kelvin Cortez (Corona, N.Y.) crossed the dish as Brandon Guerrero reached on an error. Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) followed with a single to centerfield to drive in Eduardo Labour. Brandon Guerrero (Boston, Mass.) scored as Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) reached on a defensive miscue. Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) belted a two-run home run to knock in Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

- Eastern Nazarene exploded for six runs in the top of the third to capture a 6-1 advantage. Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) laced a single to right field to drive in Brandon Guerrero (Boston, Mass.). Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) followed with a double to plate Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) and Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.). Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) crossed the dish on a double-steal as Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) swiped second base. Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) roped a double to left-centerfield to knock in Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) and Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.).
- The Pilgrims produced three runs in the fourth to cut the deficit to 6-4.
- The Lions responded with three runs in the top of the fifth inning to regain a five-run margin, 9-4. Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) launched a leadoff, solo home run before Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) raked a single to right field to score Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.). Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) tagged up and scampered home as Brandon Guerrero (Boston, Mass.) lifted a sacrifice fly.
- Eastern Nazarene tacked on a run in the seventh to widen the gap to 10-4. Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) flared a two-out single to left-centerfield to plate Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
