Baseball Keeps Rolling with Two Wins Over Keene State
WEYMOUTH, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team defeated Keene State 4-0 and 4-2 Sunday at Libby Field to extend its winning-streak to 13 consecutive contests while improving to 10-0 at home this spring.
GAME ONE
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene opened the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the first inning. Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) drew a bases-loaded walk to knock in Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) before Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) crossed the dish on an infield hit by Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.).
- The Lions picked up a run in the fourth to stretch their advantage to 3-0. Brandon Guerrero (Boston, Mass.) scampered home on a base knock to left field by Kelvin Cortez (Corona, N.Y.).
- The hosts chalked up one run in the seventh to widen the margin to 4-0. Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) lifted a sacrifice fly to drive in Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) from third base.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) tossed a complete-game shutout and racked up 12 strikeouts in his fifth start on the mound. The southpaw allowed four walks and three hits in nine innings to improve to 3-1 on the year.
- Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) paced the offense with three base hits and four stolen bases.
- Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) finished with two runs scored, one hit, and a stolen base.
- Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) drove in a pair of RBIs while Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) swiped two bags and scored a run.

- The Lions produced a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning to seize a 2-0 edge. Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) laced a single to left-centerfield to drive in Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). Eastern Nazarene executed a double-steal with runners on the corners as Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) swiped second base and Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) scampered home from third base.
- The home team tallied a run in the second to expand the margin to 3-0. Brandon Guerrero (Boston, Mass.) roped a base hit to right-centerfield to knock in Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
- Eastern Nazarene added one run in the fourth to claim a 4-0 advantage. Brandon Guerrero (Boston, Mass.) crossed the dish on an RBI groundout by Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.).
- Keene State got on the board in the top of the seventh inning, manufacturing two runs to cut the deficit to 4-2.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Jon Tessier (Coronado, Calif.) tossed his second straight complete game, recording eight strikeouts while scattering four hits and two unearned runs.
- Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican, Republic) finished with two base knocks and one run scored.
