Baseball Rattles Off 12-4 Win Over Rivier
WEYMOUTH, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team extended its winning-streak to 10 consecutive games, rolling to a 12-4 victory over River Wednesday at Libby Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Rivier scored twice in the top of the second inning to claim a 2-0 edge.
- Eastern Nazarene produced six runs in the bottom of the third to capture a 6-2 lead. Shane McNamara roped a double to centerfield to drive in Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) before Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) crossed the dish on an RBI groundout by Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.). Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) followed with a double to knock in Shane McNamara from third base. Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) scampered home as Kelvin Cortez (Corona, N.Y.) reached on a fielder's choice. Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) and Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) both scored as Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) reached on an error.
- The Lions tallied three runs in the fourth to widen the gap to 9-2. Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) belted his first home run of the spring, a solo shot to left-centerfield. Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) crossed the dish as Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) reached first base on a fielder's choice. Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) trotted home from third after Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) swiped second base.
- The home side plated a pair of runs in the fifth inning to stretch its advantage to 11-2. Shane McNamara laced a triple to left-centerfield to drive in Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) before stealing home four batters later.
- Rivier notched two runs in the top of the seventh to cut the deficit to 11-4.
- Eastern Nazarene added one run in the eighth to push its lead to 12-4. Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) landed a single in right-centerfield to plate Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) and Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) both posted two hits, two RBIs, and a pair of runs scored.
- Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) finished with three stolen bases, two hits, one RBI, and one run scored.

- Morgan Weast (Cincinnati, Ohio) hurled four innings and racked up nine strikeouts in his xxx start of the spring. David Carey (Greenfield, Mass.) worked three innings and finished with four strikeouts in his second relief appearance. Dale Beneway (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) tossed two scoreless innings and fanned four batters without allowing a baserunner.
