Boynton, Weast Pitch Gems as Baseball Stymies Lancaster Bible, 2-0 & 4-0
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- Spencer Boynton (Tampa, Fla.) and Morgan Weast (Cincinnati, Ohio) both dominated on the mound, recording double-digit strikeouts in complete-game efforts to lead the Eastern Nazarene College baseball team to a pair of shutout wins over Lancaster Bible Wednesday afternoon.
GAME ONE
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene tallied its only two runs of the game in the bottom of the fifth to snag a 2-0 edge. Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) laced a single up the middle to drive in Ethaniel Almendarez (Lynn, Mass.) from third base. Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) followed with a double to centerfield to plate Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.).

- Eastern Nazarene broke the scoreless deadlock in the top of the seventh inning, generating four runs to seize a 4-0 lead. Ruddy Vidal (Barahona, Dominican Republic) delivered a pinch-hit single to drive in Juan Jacobo Lopez (San Diego, Calif.). Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) followed with a base knock to plate Kelvin Cortez (Corona, N.Y.) from second base. Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) roped a single to centerfield to score Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) before Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) tagged up and motored home from third on a sacrifice fly by Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.).
