Max Miednik Collects NECC Baseball Rookie of the Week Honors

MANSFIELD, Mass.- Freshman Max Miednik (Parkland, Fla.) of the Eastern Nazarene College baseball team has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week, announced the league office Monday.

Miednik went 2-for-4 from the dish with one double in his collegiate debut in the Lions' 6-5 setback at Fisher. The rookie outfielder also scored a pair of runs and swiped two bases in the contest.

Eastern Nazarene sports an 0-1 overall record and returns to the diamond March 10 to host St. Joseph's (Maine) in a non-league clash.
