ROXBURY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team extended its season-long winning-streak to six games with a pair of wins at Newbury Saturday, triumphing 4-0 and 2-0.
The Lions climb to 16-11 on the season and 5-3 in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) with the two victories. The Nighthawks sink to 5-16 overall and 2-6 in conference play with the results.
In game one, Eastern Nazarene blanked Newbury 4-0 to pick up its third-consecutive league victory.
Brandon Imonti (Tewksbury, Mass.) tossed his first complete game of the season in his second start on the mound.
In the second tilt, Eastern Nazarene clipped Newbury 2-0 to seal its second-straight sweep.
Briley Seiter (Bellevue, Ky.) pitched 6.2 innings in his sixth start of the spring. Daniel Rivera (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) worked one-third on a frame in his ninth relief outing to pick up his first save.
