
Pat Yee Plays in Yawkey Baseball League All-Star Game at Fenway Park
BOSTON, Mass.- Senior Pat Yee (Lynnfield, Mass.) of the Eastern Nazarene College baseball team took part in the Yawkey Baseball League All-Star Game at historic Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, Monday afternoon.
Yee represented the West Roxbury Nationals of the Carl Yastrzemski Division during the summer season. He appeared in 26 games and finished with a batting average of .330. Yee also sported an on-base percentage of .404 and a slugging percentage of .398.
He led the Nationals with 29 base hits and ranked second with 12 RBIs and four stolen bases. Yee scored 16 runs and raked two doubles and one triple.
Yee also made two pitching appearances for the Nationals, tossing 2.2 innings on the mound.
The outfielder collected 30 putouts and recorded six assists.
Last spring, Yee batted .284 in 30 games played for the Lions. He drove in 11 RBIs and scored 19 runs while swiping nine bags.
The Yawkey Baseball League is a 14-team, wood bat amateur baseball league based in the Boston area. The 2014 season marked the league's 24th year.
