David Shiplett Joins ENC Baseball’s Incoming Class

QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene baseball head coach B.J. Hampton has announced the addition of David Shiplett to the program's class of 2017.

Shiplett hails from Warner Robins, Ga. where he attends Veterans High School. He is a two-year member of the Warhawks' varsity baseball team and played third base while also spending time at shortstop and second base. He helped lead the Warhawks to back-to-back regional championships in 2012 and 2013.

Shiplett is a two-year honor student at Veterans High School and will graduate this spring with honors. He is also a member of the Macon Heat club baseball team.

"I am looking forward to playing competitive baseball at the collegiate level for ENC," said Shiplett. "I am also looking forward to working towards the educational possibilities offered as a student at Eastern Nazarene."

The Lions posted a 13-23-1 overall record in the 2013 campaign with a 4-12 mark in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
