Bio

Tim Woodbridge (’79) was a member of the Eastern Nazarene College Men’s Cross Country Team while pursuing a degree in Business Administration. During his junior year, he won six regional races and in his senior year joined his team in qualifying for the regional NAIA championships.

Upon graduation, he returned to ENC to coach the Men’s Cross Country team, leading them to a championship season in 1996.

Tim successfully completed the Boston Marathon, as well as hundreds of road races; however, he considers his greatest accomplishment to be a long distance run from ENC’s Quincy campus to his home in Gainesville, Florida. Initially, Tim’s lodging and expenses were generously paid for by a team of sponsors, but due to liability issues they were unable to continue their financial support. Tim, left without a place to stay while on the road, put his trust in the Lord as he continued the journey.  Despite these challenges, Woodbridge completed the 1,350 mile journey in 34 days and all of the fundraising proceeds went to ENC.
