Bio

Rick Reyenger (74) played basketball at ENC from 1970-1974, scoring 1,151 career points, 1,496 career rebounds and helping ENC to 88 wins in four seasons. He was born in Quincy, MA and graduated from Quincy High School as a member of the QHS Basketball Hall of Fame. He served in the U.S. Army and earned a master’s degree from Kansas State University.

Rick was the leading rebounder and defensive stopper against any big man the Crusaders faced. He had a great mid-range jump shot and cleaned the offensive glass for points and the defensive glass for the start of many fast breaks. The 1970-1971 men’s basketball team had a record setting 19 game winning streak when Rick joined the team after the Christmas break.

Having grown up on Quincy Bay, he was extremely fortunate to cultivate his passion for boating into a successful 40-plus-year career in the marine industry. He led international divisions of Fortune 500 companies, including Outboard Marine Corporation, and guided legendary brands like Boston Whaler and Mako Marine. For the past 16 years, as partner and CEO of Marine Accessories Corporation, he has traveled the world in search of companies to add to their portfolio of brands. He has been able to satisfy his competitive nature by conducting mergers and acquisitions.  He chairs the Board of Directors for Marine Accessories Corporation and serves on two national boards related to the marine industry.

Cheryl, his wife of 41 years, has been with him every step of the way—while raising their three children. They now enjoy spending time with their seven grandchildren, running a horse facility with their daughter in Georgia, traveling abroad, and boating in the Gulf of Mexico.
