Melissa Christmas (00) was a member of the women's basketball team from 1996-2000. She is the only player in program history to be named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Year, earning the award as a senior.

Christmas was selected to the All-CCC first team as a junior and senior after garnering second team honors as a freshman. She ranks sixth in program history with 1,051 career points.

Christmas helped the Crusaders reach the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament championship game in 1998 and guided the team to the 2000 CCC Championship en route to advancing to the NCAA Tournament "Sweet Sixteen".
