Lois Malvesti (81) suited up for the Eastern Nazarene women’s basketball and volleyball teams from 1977 to 1981. During her career, the Crusaders’ volleyball team racked up 108 victories and the women’s basketball team won 54 games.

She propelled the Crusaders’ powerhouse volleyball program to three consecutive MAIAW Tournament finals and helped the team to capture the 1977 and 1979 crowns. In 1979, Malvesti was named the MAIAW Division II Most Valuable Player and to the New England Invitational All-Tournament Team after leading Eastern Nazarene to the championship.

Malvesti played a key role in guiding the Crusaders to the 1977-78 MAIAW Tournament title. As a junior in 1979-80, she was named to the WCIA All-Tournament Team after Eastern Nazarene suffered a one-point loss in the championship contest.
