
ENC SAAC Raises Money for Breast Cancer Awareness
QUINCY, Mass. – The Eastern Nazarene College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee recently collected donations at the volleyball game on October 4 and women’s soccer match on October 13 to help raise awareness and support for breast cancer.
QUINCY, Mass. – The Eastern Nazarene College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee recently collected donations at the volleyball game on October 4 and women’s soccer match on October 13 to help raise awareness and support for breast cancer.
In total, the ENC SAAC raised $225 through generous donations. The money collected will go towards raising awareness for breast cancer as well as furthering education of the disease and to help fund patient services.
During both contests, the Lions donned numerous pink gear including jerseys, tape, headbands, shoelaces and ribbons.
The Eastern Nazarene volleyball team participated in the Dig Pink initiative as part of the AVCA Side-Out Foundation this fall and has collected $100.
The mission of the Eastern Nazarene College Student Athlete Advisory Committee is to gather insight from student-athletes in order to develop leadership, academic excellence, and Christian faith. The ENC SAAC works in conjunction with the NCAA and The CCC to enhance the complete student-athlete experience. We seek to encourage and facilitate the improvement of the student-athletes’ physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in order to present a positive image to the ENC student body, opposing teams, and the community.
The Eastern Nazarene Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is comprised of two representatives from each varsity sport program.
