
Eastern Nazarene Set to Induct Three into Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame
QUINCY, Mass.- Two former Eastern Nazarene College standout student-athletes as well as a contributor will be enshrined in the Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame during the 2021 Homecoming festivities October 15-16. The inductees will be honored at the Alumni Celebration Friday, October 15 at and Saturday, October 16 at the Lahue Athletic Center.
Dave Hutchinson ('59), Chuck Zink ('66), and Dr. Sylvia Goodman comprise the 13th Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame class.
Dave Hutchinson ('59) attended ENC from 1955-1959 and was a member of the Crusaders' men's basketball team in the program's early years. Hutchinson helped Eastern Nazarene to a 32-1 record in his career. He guided the Crusaders to the 1959 King's Tournament championship.
Chuck Zink ('66) played on the Crusaders' men's basketball team from 1962-66. He racked up over 900 career points and over 900 career rebounds. In Zink's four seasons, Eastern Nazarene compiled a 54-31 overall record. Zink's son Corey served as the head men's basketball coach at Eastern Nazarene from 2003-06.
Dr. Sylvia Goodman served as the head athletic trainer and as a faculty member at Eastern Nazarene from 1981-2001.
Goodman has also worked as an athletic trainer for the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center, the Pan-Am Games, the Olympic Games, the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, and the Boston Marathon.Having held in numerous posts at Southern Nazarene University, she currently serves as the Chair of Graduate and Professional Studies in Kinesiology.
Goodman becomes the first non-graduate of Eastern Nazarene inducted as well as the first inductee in the Contributor category for her many years of dedication and service.
A total of 44 individuals and six teams have been inducted into the Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame since its inception in 1994.
