
Kylie Waldroop Named Head Cross Country Coach, First-Ever Strength & Conditioning Head Coach
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene College has named Kylie (Polsgrove) Waldroop as the 11th head cross country coach and first-ever head strength and conditioning coach in school history, Director of Athletics Dr. Brad Zarges announced this week. She will also serve as an assistant coach with the Lions' track & field teams.
"The addition of Kylie to our staff represents an incredible opportunity for the student-athletes and athletic department. Her personal level of accomplishment and desire to serve the Lord using her gifts match our goal of 'Pursuing Excellence and Serving God and the Community'," said Zarges. "As an incredibly successful athlete, Kylie displayed a competitor's heart, striving every day to be better than the day before. She will bring that same mindset to our Cross Country and Track & Field teams. We are also taking a major step forward in the athletic department to add a Strength & Conditioning Coach that will help train our athletes in comprehensive ways."

A 2019 graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, Waldroop was a four-year member of the Flames' women's track & field team. She served as a team captain her senior year and earned multiple all-conference and all-region accolades throughout her career.
During her undergraduate tenure, Waldroop completed strength and conditioning internships at Liberty University and the University of Lynchburg.
She currently holds a National Strength Coaches Association certification and an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR Level 1 certification.
