Eastern Nazarene Garners 24 Fall CCC All-Academic Honorees
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene College placed 24 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference Fall All-Academic Team released by the league office Monday.
The Academic All-Conference honor rewards varsity student-athletes who attain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher. The Spring Academic All-Conference Team encompasses student-athletes who participated in the sports of men's and women's cross country, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
The Lions' women's volleyball team paced all programs with seven honorees. The Eastern Nazarene men's cross country, women's cross country, and women's soccer squads boasted four selections each while the men's soccer and women's tennis teams both garnered three nods.
Among the honorees was women's tennis junior Adele Duval (Redding, Calif.) who earned a pair of All-Commonwealth Coast Conference third team accolades while women's volleyball senior Kayla Dean (Lansdale, Pa.) received New England Women's Volleyball Association All-Senior honorable mention in the fall.
A total of 420 student-athletes from the conference's 10 member institutions were recognized.
