
Eastern Nazarene Places 16 Student-Athletes on Spring CCC All-Academic List
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene College landed 16 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference Spring All-Academic Team released by the league office Monday.
The Academic All-Conference honor rewards sophomore or higher varsity student-athletes who attain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher. The Spring Academic All-Conference Team encompasses student-athletes who participated in the sports of men's and women's basketball, men's ice hockey, baseball, men's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's tennis, softball, and men's and women's track and field.
The Lions' women's basketball team paced all programs with five honorees. The Eastern Nazarene women's track and field squad boasted four selections while the softball team garnered three nods.
Among the honorees were a pair of Commonwealth Coast Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year award winners: Andres Biondi (Barquisimeto, Venezuela) of the ENC men's tennis team and BreAnna Fraser (Henderson, Nev.) of the women's basketball team.
A total of 566 student-athletes from the conference's 10 member institutions and three associate member institutions were recognized.
