Women’s Cross Country Earns 12th at Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational
WENHAM, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's cross country team claimed 12th at the Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational Saturday.
The Lions bested Rivier, Curry, New Hampshire Tech, and Pine Manor in the team standings.
Rodelina Kinglsey (Lawrence, Mass.) paced Eastern Nazarene with a 25:40.6 to place 30th.
Jael Bourque (Nashua, N.H.) clocked in with a time of 30:02.6 while Elizabeth Gillis (Westford, Mass.) finished in 30:48.9.
Katherine Sautter (Quincy, Mass.), Makayla Grantham (Appalachian, N.Y.), and Kaylee McGurgan (Waco, Texas) also represented the Lions at the meet.
The University of New England, led by individual champion Emily Wasina, captured the team crown.
Looking ahead, Eastern Nazarene is slated to compete at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Invitational September 28.
