Women’s Volleyball Takes On New England College in NECC Tournament Championship Match Sunday
QUINCY, Mass.- The No. 2 seed Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team travels to top-seeded New England College in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Tournament finals Sunday afternoon.

HOW THEY GOT HERE:
Eastern Nazarene sports a 16-10 overall record and posted a 2-1 league mark to claim the No. 2 seed in the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament. New England College clinched the No. 1 seed with a 3-0 conference record and heads into the contest boasting a 19-6 overall record.
The Lions swept Mitchell 3-0 in the NECC semifinals while the Pilgrims cruised past Lesley in straight-sets.
POSTSEASON HISTORY:
Eastern Nazarene is making its third-straight trip to the NECC Tournament and 19th all-time postseason appearance. The Lions clinched the program's first-ever NECC crown in 2019 with wins over Mitchell and New England College along the way.
ENC vs. NEC – ALL-TIME SERIES:
Eastern Nazarene and New England College have squared off five times in program history with the Lions holding a narrow 3-2 edge in the all-time series. Earlier this fall, Eastern Nazarene dropped a hard-fought 3-2 decision at New England College.
AWARDS HAUL:
Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) swept the NECC Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards. Ruth Aguilar (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and Emma Graves (Berkshire, N.Y.) joined Baran on the All-NECC team. Rookie Piper Bolner (LaGrangeville, N.Y.) was selected to the NECC Del Malloy Sportsmanship Team. Head coach Derek Schmitt was voted the NECC Co-Coach of the Year.
