Women’s Volleyball Collects Sixth-Straight Victory, Triumphs at UMass Dartmouth
DARTMOUTH, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team stretched its winning-streak to six-consecutive matches with a 3-0 victory at UMass-Dartmouth Tuesday evening.
The Lions improve to 7-5 on the season with the win while the Corsairs sink to 3-5-0 overall.
Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) racked up 18 kills to go with eight digs and three blocks. Emma Graves (Berkshire, N.Y.) tallied 11 kills and five total blocks on the night. Jessica Caldwell (Quincy, Mass.) notched seven kills, six digs, and a team-best four aces. Ruth Aguilar (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) posted 32 assists while Amya Altman (Butler, Pa.) registered 11 digs.
The visitors eked out a pair of 25-23 wins in the opening two sets to establish a 2-0 lead.
Eastern Nazarene wrapped up its third-straight sweep with a 25-17 victory in the third frame.
Kate Wade paced UMass Dartmouth with 12 kills while Zoe Dizenzo chipped in with 24 assists and Devon Laing added 18 digs.
