Taylor Dempsey was named the 10th head women’s soccer coach in program history at Eastern Nazarene in August of 2021. Dempsey came to ENC after a stretch as the Athletic Director at Covenant Christian Academy and girls varsity soccer coach. Before her time at Covenant, she was the Assistant women’s soccer coach at Bentley University in Waltham, MA. While at Bentley, Dempsey coached 4 All-Conference (NE10) Players, 4 All-New England players, and 2 CoSIDA Academic All-District players. 

While coaching at Bentley, Dempsey was also the Director of Marketing of FC Stars Soccer Club. Her duties included creating all graphic design materials for the club, website management and social media management as well as all fundraising efforts. Dempsey also had stints as a youth soccer program coordinator at Danvers Indoor Sports as well as an Assistant Director of Marketing for the facility. 

Prior to Bentley, Dempsey was the assistant coach at Misericordia University in Pennsylvania. She helped the team to a 32-8-2 record in her two seasons with an undefeated conference record (14-0) along with two trips to the NCAA Division III tournament and a national ranking of 7. While at Misericordia, Dempsey coached 21 All-Mac Freedom Conference Players, 1 Rookie of the year, 2 offensive players of the year, 2X defensive player of the year, 7 All-Region (Mid-Atlantic) players, and 2 All-Americans. She also earned a Master of Science in Organizational Management while at the school. 

Dempsey graduated from Gordon College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Sport & Wellness. Dempsey's successful playing career at Gordon (McSherry) saw her named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Year along with earning three All-Conference recognitions as well as All-New England and played in the NEWISA Senior Bowl. She also played one season of semi-professional soccer, with FC Surge in Miami, FL in the WPSL.
