Women’s Basketball Flies Past Fisher, 78-54
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team posted a 78-54 wire-to-wire victory over Fisher Wednesday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene chalked up the first eight points of the game to race out to an 8-0 advantage 2:10 into the contest.
- The home side widened the gap to 18 points with 2:50 left to play in the first quarter as Ashley Quigley (Fields Landing, Calif.) splashed a three-pointer, 24-6.
- The Lions sported a 26-13 lead heading into the second frame after the visitors capped off the opening period with a 7-2 run.
- Both teams struggled offensively in the second quarter as Eastern Nazarene narrowly outscored Fisher 11-9 to hold a 37-22 advantage at halftime.
- The Falcons netted 19 points in the third while the Lions scored 17 in the quarter to boast a 54-41 lead heading into the final frame.
- Fisher trimmed the gap to 56-46 with 8:26 remaining on a layup by Naomi Mares.
- Eastern Nazarene closed out the contest with a 15-6 run spanning in the final six minutes to cruise to a 78-54 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Anaira Ayala (Guaynabo, P.R.) tallied a team-high 16 points to go with six boards.
- Ashley Quigley (Fields Landing, Calif.) notched 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
- Ahidali DeHuelbes (Tucson, Ariz.) finished with 12 points and eight boards off the bench.
- Delaney Walker (Nampa, Idaho) chipped in with 12 points while Alondra Jimenez (Santa Barbara, Calif.) registered nine points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.
- Eastern Nazarene shot 42.3% from the floor and managed a 20% clip from three-point range.
- Fisher was limited to a field-goal percentage of 31.2% on the night and just 15% shooting from behind the arc.
- Naomi Mares paced the Falcons with a game-high 18 points and five assists while Madison Kelly finished with 17 points and eight rebounds.
