Sacha Santimano to Appear on “Hoopsville” Thursday Night
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball head coach Sacha Santimano will be a guest on Thursday night's episode of "Hoopsville". She will join host Dave McHugh of D3Hoops.com to discuss the team's "DONAT3" initiative at 7:20pm.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team has been pledging money to OneVOICE, DOVE, and The Dianne Devanna Center for every three-pointer the Lions sink. Throughout the course of the season, the women's basketball team has hosted awareness games for each of the three charity organizations while collecting monetary donations and goods.
This season, the Lions have drained 134 three-pointers and pledged over $1,800 for the three organizations.
Santimano's squad sports a 19-3 overall record with a 12-1 league mark and recently locked up the No. 1 seed in the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament.
Santimano is in her ninth season at the helm of the Eastern Nazarene women's basketball program and owns a 127-104 career record.
Eastern Nazarene will wrap up the regular season at home against Elms February 22. The Lions will begin postseason play February 27 as they host an NECC Tournament semifinal tilt.
"Hoopsville" is the only talk show dedicated to NCAA Division III basketball and has been airing since 2000. The show airs on Sundays and Thursdays throughout the season and is archived for on-demand viewing.
