No. 3 Seed Men’s Soccer Heads to No. 2 Mitchell Friday for NECC Semifinal Showdown
QUINCY, Mass.- The third-seeded Eastern Nazarene College men's soccer team travels to second-seeded Mitchell in the semifinals of the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Tournament Friday.

HOW THEY GOT HERE:
Eastern Nazarene wrapped up the regular season with a 6-9-3 overall record and finished third in the NECC with a mark of 4-2-2. The Mariners own an 8-8-0 record on the year and posted a 6-2-0 record in conference play this season.
NECC TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND RECAP:
Eastern Nazarene outlasted Lesley in overtime 1-0 to advance to the NECC Tournament semifinals. Senior Connor Hudson-Bryant (Weymouth, Mass.) converted a penalty kick in the 95th minute to score the golden goal.
POSTSEASON HISTORY:
Eastern Nazarene is making its first-ever trip to the NECC Tournament after joining the conference this year. The Lions' previous postseason appearance came in 2016 with a berth to the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament quarterfinals.
LIONS VS. MARINERS:
Eastern Nazarene edged Mitchell 3-2 in overtime during the regular season on the road. Sunil Lepcha (Charlotte, N.C.) and Kirby Georgeon (Brockton, Mass.) each netted a goal in regulation and Sebastian Arboleda (Barranquilla, Colombia) scored the game-winner in the 93rd minute.
ALL-CONFERENCE ACCOLADES:
Eastern Nazarene landed three players on the All-New England Collegiate Conference teams. Edmilson Centeio (New Bedford, Mass.) earned All-NECC first team honors while Hudson-Bryant was tabbed to the second team and Florian Resch (St. Stefan, Austria) received third team accolades. Sophomore Anson Thibault (Durham, N.H.) was selected to the NECC Del Malloy Sportsmanship Team.
