Men’s Soccer Visits Salve Regina Saturday in CCC Quarterfinal Tilt
QUINCY, Mass. – Making its first playoff appearance since the 2002 campaign, the Eastern Nazarene men’s soccer team will travel to Salve Regina Saturday, October 27 for a Commonwealth Coast Conference quarterfinal matchup starting at 1:00 pm.

The Lions earned the No. 7 seed in the CCC Tournament with a 3-5-1 league record while sporting a 7-8-2 overall mark. The Seahawks claimed the No. 2 seed after finishing the regular season with a 6-3-1 mark in the conference and a 13-5-1 record on the year.
Earlier this season, Salve Regina posted a 5-1 victory over Eastern Nazarene September 12. Junior Edgar Arceo (Minden, Nev.) netted the Lions' lone goal in the loss in the 13th minute.
The Lions are led by Arceo with 20 points on five goals and a team-best and league-high 10 assists. His 10 helpers rank him in the top-20 nationally for assists per game with .59.
Sophomore Scott Hansen (Middletown Spring, Vt.) paces Eastern Nazarene with six goals on the fall. Hansen buried the lone marker in the Lions' 1-0 victory over the University of New England in the final regular-season contest.
Senior Josh Kaplan (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) has also contributed with five goals while also anchoring the Eastern Nazarene defensive unit.
Between the posts, sophomore netminder Jake Johnson (Mount Bethel, Pa.) boasts a 6-7-2 record with a 1.83 goals-against average this season. He has registered three clean sheets on the year.
