Men’s Golf Finishes Seventh at MASCAC Preview Meet

PITTSFIELD, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's golf team claimed seventh at the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Preview Meet Tuesday held at Berkshire Hills Country Club, the site of the 2021 MASCAC Championships in October.

The Lions posted a team score of 394 to edge MCLA by one stroke for seventh-place on the team standings. Salem State's matt Godbout bested the field with a 75 to lead the Vikings to a first-place finish a combined mark of 313.

Matt Cawthorne (Norwell, Mass.) fired a team-best 90 while Jimmy Keuther (Marshfield, Mass.) carded a career-best 97.

Chris Jaskiewicz (Oakdale, Conn.), Nick Thibeau (Spencerport, N.Y.), and Brandon Brown (Oxford, Pa.) also represented Eastern Nazarene at the meet.

Up next, Eastern Nazarene will compete at the Westfield State Invitational September 23.
