Levi White Tabbed NECC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
MANSFIELD, Mass.- Senior Levi White (Springfield, Mass.) of the Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week, announced the league office Monday.
White averaged 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game as the Lions posted a 1-1 record on the week.
In a non-conference loss at Trinity (Conn.), he poured in 19 points while hauling in eight boards. White capped off the week with 12 points and nine rebounds as Eastern Nazarene opened conference play with an 80-62 victory over New England College.
This season, White ranks second on the team with 12.8 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per contest.
Eastern Nazarene boasts an 8-9 overall record with a 1-0 mark in NECC action. The Lions host nationally-ranked Christopher Newport January 16.
