Eastern Nazarene to Induct Four Individuals & Two Teams into Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame, Retire Hutchison’s Jersey Number
QUINCY, Mass.- Four former Eastern Nazarene College standout student-athletes as well as two teams will be enshrined in the Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame during the 2022 Homecoming festivities October 14-15. The inductees will be honored at the Alumni Celebration Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 at the Lahue Athletic Center.
Rebecca (Miller) Anderson (96), Bryan Schwanke (84), Jeff Seabron (94), and A. Gordon Wetmore (77) comprise the 14th Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame class.
Eastern Nazarene will also be retiring its fifth jersey number as Robert Hutchison's No. 10 will be retired. Hutchison joins Ron Bradley, Jodi (Gardner) Brown, Janet (Ranstrom) Calhoun, and Steve Shoff as the only student-athletes in school history to have their jersey numbers retired for their respective sports.

Rebecca (Miller) Anderson (96) was a four-year member of the Eastern Nazarene women's volleyball team from 1991-94. She helped the Crusaders capture the MAIAW Championship in 1991 and back-to-back Commonwealth Coast Conference Invitational Tournament titles in 1993 and 1994. As a senior, she ranked fifth in NCAA Division III with 228 blocks and seventh with 399 kills. During Anderson's time at Eastern Nazarene, the Crusaders compiled an 80-45 record.

Bryan Schwanke (84) was a four-year member of the Eastern Nazarene men's basketball program. He ranks ninth all-time with 1,673 career points. Schwanke helped the Crusaders to a 59-63 record in his four seasons.
As a sophomore, Schwanke and the Crusaders claimed the NCCAA Regional Championship and received a bid to the NCCAA National Tournament. After his junior campaign, Schwanke was selected to the NCCAA All-District team. He also represented Eastern Nazarene at the 1994 NAIA All-Star Game.

Jeff Seabron (94) played four seasons on the Eastern Nazarene men's basketball team from 1990-94. He ranks 15th on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,303 career points while also hauling in 670 career rebounds in 101 games played.
As a senior, Seabron was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Year and earned All-America honorable mention. He was selected to the All-CCC first team as a junior and senior.
During Seabron's career, the Crusaders posted a 53-50 record and claimed the 1993 Commonwealth Coast Conference championship.

A. Gordon Wetmore (77) was a four-year member of the Eastern Nazarene men's basketball and baseball teams from 1973-77. Wetmore excelled on the hardwood where he poured in 1,382 career points, ranking him 13th in program history. When he graduated in 1977, Wetmore ranked sixth all-time in career points.
He helped lead the Crusaders to a record of 74-39 in his four seasons. As a junior, Wetmore collected All-Naismith Basketball Conference accolades.

The 1990 ENC women's tennis team rattled off a 12-0 record, the only undefeated season in program history. The Crusaders posted wins over Suffolk, Regis, Southeastern Mass., Gordon, Endicott, Emmanuel, Salem State, Franklin Pierce, Pine Manor, Curry, Wentworth, Emerson, and Stonehill.

The 1996-97 men's basketball team finished the season with an impressive 23-5 overall record – the 13th best record in the nation that year. Eastern Nazarene's 23 wins still stands as the program's highest single-season victory total.
The Crusaders compiled a 12-1 mark in conference play and secured the top spot in the CCC south division. Eastern Nazarene advanced to the Commonwealth Coast Conference championship game for the third time in five years before falling to Wentworth in the CCC finals.
Eastern Nazarene went on to earn a berth in the ECAC Tournament and defeated UMass-Boston to claim the school's first-ever and only ECAC crown. Dave Hepburn was named the ECAC Tournament Most Valuable Player.
Dave Hepburn and Luke Sheets both earned All-CCC first team honors while Jay Hepburn collected All-CCC second team accolades. Head coach Mark Fleming was voted the CCC Coach of the Year in 1996-97.

Robert "Hutch" Hutchison (95) was inducted into the Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame in 2013 after a stellar four-year career on the pitch for the men's soccer team from 1991-94.
As a senior, Hutchison played a vital role in helping the Crusaders claim the team's only Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship. Eastern Nazarene topped Roger Williams in double-overtime to claim the league crown.
Hutchison notched a career-high 23 goals as a senior to match the program's career goals record. His 81 career tallies tied Steve Shoff for the most goals in a career at ENC. Hutchison had played high school soccer under Shoff prior to attending Eastern Nazarene.
The Weymouth, Massachusetts native earned a spot on the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference first team all four years as a Crusader.
After graduating from Eastern Nazarene in 1995, Hutchison attained his Master's Degree in Education and is currently teaching physical education in Brookline, Mass. Along with his teaching responsibilities, Hutchison also coaches volleyball, soccer and basketball in Brookline.
