Maria Clarabuch Garners NECC Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week Honors

MANSFIELD, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball's Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week, announced the league office Monday.

Clarabuch racked up 31 kills, 11 digs, and three blocks in a 2-1 week for the Lions. She posted back-to-back 11-kill performances to lead Eastern Nazarene to victories over Rhode Island College and Bay Path.

This season, Clarabuch has notched 70 kills to go with 21 digs and 11 blocks.

Eastern Nazarene sports a 9-1 overall record and returns to action September 27 with a non-conference match at Emmanuel.
