Women’s Hoops Prevails at SUNY Morrisville, 68-59
MORRISVILLE, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team collected a 68-59 victory at SUNY Morrisville Friday evening.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both squads chalked up 13 points in the first quarter.
- SUNY Morrisville edged Eastern Nazarene 16-14 in second-period scoring to hold a narrow 29-27 advantage at the halftime break.
- The Lions sported a 50-48 lead heading into the final frame after layup by Theresa McCarver (Fairfield, Calif.) just before the buzzer to end the third quarter.
- The visitors strung together a 9-0 run to widen the gap to 64-53 with 3:48 left to play in regulation.
- Eastern Nazarene outscored SUNY Morrisville 18-11 in the fourth to secure its first-ever win over the Mustangs.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Anaira Ayala (Guaynabo, P.R.) scored a team-high 17 points off the bench.
- Genesis McNeill (Providence, R.I.) posted her first collegiate double-double, finishing with 14 points and 10 steals to go with five assists.
- Alexandria Paquet (Santa Maria, Calif.) tallied 12 points, six boards, and five assists.
- Eva Graf (Mather, Calif.) notched her first double-double of the season, pouring in 10 points and gathering 11 rebounds.
- Eastern Nazarene shot 34.6% from the floor and 25% from three-point distance on the night.
- SUNY Morrisville finished with a field-goal percentage of 36.1% while connecting on 10-of-31 from beyond the arc.
- Hannah Bonczkowski netted 15 points to lead the Mustangs while Anna Neufeld added 14 points.
