Eastern Nazarene Names Tyler Pagaduan Head Softball Coach
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene College Director of Athletics Dr. Brad Zarges has announced the hiring of Tyler Pagaduan as head softball coach. Pagaduan becomes the 15th head coach in the program's 42-year history.
"We are excited to add Tyler Pagaduan as our new head softball coach. Tyler's passion for coaching and desire to integrate his faith into his coaching were evident throughout the process," commented Zarges. "He comes to ENC with excellent experience in a successful program under a long-time coach that has invested in his growth. Taking over a program with such recent success, we look forward to seeing Tyler continue to build on the strong foundation."
Pagaduan joins the Lions following a two-year stint as a graduate assistant coach at Geneva College. During his stretch in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, the Golden Tornadoes posted a 55-21 record and captured the 2021 Presidents' Athletic Conference title.
The Voorhees, New Jersey native also spent time as head softball coach at Beaver Falls Middle School, assistant manager at In The Zone Baseball & Softball Academy, and volunteer assistant baseball coach at Bloomfield College.
"I want to thank Brad Zarges and the leadership team here at ENC for giving me this opportunity to coach this great group of players. I am grateful and excited to be joining the ENC community. I am also thankful and blessed for the opportunity and growth that Geneva College has presented me over the course of my undergraduate studies and for starting my collegiate coaching career," stated Pagaduan.
Pagaduan graduated from Geneva College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management/Business and is currently pursuing his Masters of Higher Education degree at Geneva College. He was a four-year starter on the Golden Tornadoes' baseball team and served as a team captain while also earning all-conference second team honors.
