Men’s Soccer Stifles Lesley, Earns 7-0 Win
LEXINGTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's soccer team remained undefeated in New England Collegiate Conference play with a 7-0 victory at Lesley Wednesday night.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The guests claimed a 1-0 edge in the 33rd minute as Joaquin Ferraro (Seville, Spain) curled in his second goal of the season.
- Eastern Nazarene tacked on a score in the 50th minute to push its lead to 2-0. Samuel Rosas (Danbury, Conn.) poked in a loose ball inside the six-yard box to collect his first collegiate tally.
- The Lions added a goal in the 56th minute to widen the margin to 3-0. Ignacio Fernandez Busto (Madrid, Spain) laced a right-footed shot inside the near post to bag his first career marker.
- Eastern Nazarene extended its advantage to 4-0 in the 64th minute. Mattia Zuin (Mexico City, Mexico) headed home his first collegiate goal off of an assist by Clide Neau (Easton, Mass.).
- The visitors stretched their lead to 5-0 in the 65th minute as Neau netted his team-leading fifth tally of the fall.
- The Lions chalked up their sixth goal of the match, taking a 6-0 lead in the 69th minute. Zuin found the back of the net with a right-footed volley off of a corner kick by Pablo Velazquez (Barrameda, Spain).
- Eastern Nazarene added a goal in the 78th minute to push its advantage to 7-0 as Josiah Milord (Randolph, Mass.) buried his first career goal.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Goalkeeper Antonio Soto Valente (Maracaibo, Venezuela.) made one save in his fifth start of the year to record his first shutout.
- Eastern Nazarene produced a season-high 32 shots on the evening while limiting Lesley to just three attempts in the match.
- The Lions concluded the contest with an 11-1 advantage in corner kicks.
