MILTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's soccer team clipped Curry 1-0 Saturday evening at Walter Katz Field in the 40th all-time meeting between the two squads.
The Lions improve to 4-1-0 on the season with their fourth-straight win while the Colonels dip to 2-4-0 overall.
The two sides battled to a scoreless first half with Eastern Nazarene producing five shots and Curry firing seven attempts in the opening 45 minutes of action.
The visitors netted the match's lone score in the 61st minute. Charlie Swann (London, England) knocked in a curling cross off the boot of Mohamed Gouriche (Weymouth, Mass.) to collect his team-leading seventh goal of the season.
The Lions concluded the contest with 17 shots after registering 12 attempts in the second stanza. The Colonels manufactured 10 shots on the night.
Tyler Ferreira (Berkley, Mass.) recorded one save in the game to pick up his first clean sheet of the fall.
