Men’s Golf Finishes Eighth at MASCAC Championships

PITTSFIELD, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's golf team claimed eighth-place at the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Championships held Monday and Tuesday Berkshire Hills Country Club.

The Lions posted a two-day, 27-hole total of 591.

Matt Cawthorne (Norwell, Mass.) shot an 83 in the second round to conclude the tournament with a mark of 130.

Nick Thibeau (Spencerport, N.Y.) carded a 101 to finish with a score of 151. Chris Jaskiewicz (Oakdale, Conn.) posted a 157 while Jimmy Keuther (Norwell, Mass.) registered a 157 and Brandon Brown (Oxford, Pa.) tallied a 165 at the two-day event.

Salem State's Ethan Doyle topped the individual leaderboard with a 111 to lead the Vikings to the team title.

Eastern Nazarene will resume the 2021-22 campaign in the spring.
