Men’s Golf Captures Third at Albertus Magnus Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's golf team placed third at the Albertus Magnus Invitational held at Alling Memorial Golf Club Friday.

The Lions finished with a team score of 374 while Albertus Magnus claimed the team title with a 329 while Dean came in a close second with 331.

Michael Dietz (North Charleston, S.C.) fired a 79 to finish tied for third in the individual standings while Jacob Waldroop (Newland, N.C.) carded a season-low 84.

Chris Jaskiewicz (Oakmont, Conn.) shot a 102 and Colby Knott (West Warwick, R.I.) registered a 103 on the day.

Brandon Brown (Oxford, Pa.) and Jimmy Keuther (Marshfield, Mass.) also competed for Eastern Nazarene at the three-team tournament.

Looking ahead, Eastern Nazarene will compete at the NECC/MASCAC Championships October 5 and 6 at Wachusett Country Club in West Boylston, Mass.
