Men’s Golf Earns Eighth at MCLA Invitational

PITTSFIELD, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's golf team battled rainy conditions to finish eighth at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Invitational Tuesday at the Berkshire Hills Country Club.

Michael Dietz (North Charleston, S.C.) paced the Lions with a mark of 80 while Jacob Waldroop (Newland, N.C.) carded an 85 on the day.

Luke Dagley (Weymouth, Mass.) made his collegiate golf debut while Jimmy Keuther (Marshfield, Mass.) also represented Eastern Nazarene at the tournament.

Westfield State edged Elms by one stroke to capture the team title. Castleton's Jacob Erwin and Roger Williams' Ryan Burrill tied atop the individual leaderboard with a score of 73.

Up next, Eastern Nazarene will head to the Mitchell Invitational September 26 at Shennecossett Golf Club in Groton, Connecticut.
