Women’s Cross Country Competes at Westfield State Invitational
WESTFIELD, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's cross country team earned 43rd place at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park on Saturday.
The Lions were led by Jill Russell (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) with a time of 24:31.81.
Jamie Hultgren (Somers, Conn.) turned in a mark of 25:08.35 while Christina Saint-Pierre (Lantana, Fla.) crossed the finish line in 25:58.47.
Renice Dave (Norwood, Mass.) and Dezirae Maffit (Aurora, Ill.) also represented Eastern Nazarene in the 5K race.
A total of 424 runners representing 44 teams traversed the 5K course.
Williams College claimed the overall team title after garnering the top two finishers as Emily Sundquist paced the field.
Up next, the Lions will run in the Emmanuel College Invitational held at Franklin Park October 17.
