Cross Country Squads Race at Pop Crowell Invitational Saturday

WENHAM, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College cross country teams competed at the Pop Crowell Invitational Saturday hosted by Gordon College.

The women's squad claimed 19th place while the men's team captured 25th.

Junior Ami Curtis (East Montpelier, Vt.) paced the women's team with a time of 19:53.0 to earn 33rd place. Taylor Quint (Hodgdon, Maine) clocked in just ahead of Taylor Corbin (Honesdale, Pa.) with a mark of 23:22.3.

On the men's side, Charles Brecht (Pennsville, N.J.) was the Lions' top finisher. Brecht posted a time of 33:15.5 while Jonathan Lee (Glenville, Md.) crossed the finish line with a mark of 37:59.2.

Up next, Eastern Nazarene will participate in the Westfield State Invitational October 6.
