BEVERLY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College volleyball team wrapped up the 2015 season with a pair of 3-0 losses, falling to Endicott and St. Joseph's (Conn.) Saturday afternoon at Endicott College's MacDonald Gymnasium.
The Lions cap off the season at 3-26 overall and 0-8 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The Gulls improve to 20-9 on the year and 6-2 in league play while the Bluejays progress to 12-15 overall.
Hannah Welsh (Derry, N.H.) finished with 16 digs, 13 assists, nine kills and a pair of aces on the day. Joanna Joseph (Brockton, Mass.) notched nine kills and four blocks in the two matches. Kayla Dean (Lansdale, Pa.) posted eight kills, 14 assists, 12 digs and three aces on the afternoon.
Eastern Nazarene suffered a 3-0 setback to Endicott in the final conference contest of the regular season.
The hosts rolled to a 25-5 win in the first game before edging the Lions 25-20 in the second set.
Endicott prevailed 25-6 in the third stanza to secure its fourth-straight league victory.
In the final match of the year, Eastern Nazarene absorbed a 3-0 loss to St. Joseph's (Conn.).
The Bluejays claimed the opening set 25-15 before cruising to a 25-10 victory in the second frame.
The Lions narrowly fell in the third game 25-21.
