BRISTOL, R.I.- The Eastern Nazarene College volleyball team endured a 3-0 setback at regionally-ranked Roger Williams Tuesday evening.
The Lions dip to 3-23 on the season and 0-7 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The Hawks, ranked No. 12 in the latest NCAA Regional Poll, improves to 16-11 overall while remaining atop the league standings with a 7-0 mark.
Hannah Welsh (Derry, N.H.) led the visitors with five kills, five digs and one ace on the night. Kayla Dean (Lansdale, Pa.) posted six digs, five assists and one kill in the match. Oksana DiCamillo (Eighty-Four, Pa.) recorded a team-best eight digs.
The home team prevailed in the opening set 25-11.
Roger Williams claimed the second set 25-13 before breezing to a 25-6 victory in the third to secure its 19th consecutive conference win, dating back to the 2013 season.
