Volleyball Tops Regis, Salem State at UMass-Dartmouth Invitational
NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women’s volleyball team posted a pair of victories on the second day of the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Tripp Athletic Center.

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team posted a pair of victories on the second day of the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Tripp Athletic Center. The Lions swept Regis and Salem State to improve to 6-2 on the season. The Pride falls to 2-6 overall while the Vikings slide to 0-4.
Eastern Nazarene prevailed in three tight sets to sweep Regis. The Lions claimed the first frame 25-20 before edging the Pride 25-21 and 25-23.
In the final match of the tournament, Eastern Nazarene eked out a 25-21 victory in set one over Salem State. The Lions grabbed a 2-0 lead with a 25-16 decision in the second game before rolling 25-8 in the third to seal the win.
Junior Cayla Clinkscale (Winchendon, Mass.) was selected to the All-Tournament team at the end of the event.
Eastern Nazarene will return to UMass-Dartmouth for a non-league bout September 11 at 7 pm.
